Share What You Love Bat Mitzvah Card

Yesterday, along with several other family members, my husband and I were honored to attend our first Bat Mitzvah.  My great niece has been studying for her big day since she was nine years old. I shared her thirteen birthday card on an earlier post.

Since I had no stamp sets specific for Jewish special occasions (adding a request to the Sandbox), I had to improvise quite a bit. Here is what I came up with. At the end is a picture of our special girl, because I never miss a chance to brag about her.

Share What You Love, Designer Series Paper, Celebrate die

Share What You Love

My card base is Tranquil Tide card stock (144246),  I angled a piece of a beautiful new product, our Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (146926) over the base. This is a double pack of designer Paper, and every piece is gorgeous!

I next added a large dragonfly which I die cut from the largest die in the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Die Set (142749) in Blackberry Bliss (133675) card stock. The dragonfly was covered with Clear Wink of Stella (141897).

The finishing touch is a die cut “Celebrate” from the Celebrate You Thinlits Set (146840).

Now here is a picture of our precious girl!

  1. Such a lovely picture of I’m sure a very special day. The card is almost as pretty I love the dragonfly with that paper! Great card my friend ❤

  2. I think your card is a perfect tribute to her dedication and hard work. Lovely! Congrats to her! <3
